To build a greener, cleaner, and sustainable Salem where nature and people coexist in harmony.
To mobilize youth and local communities to actively participate in environmental conservation activities. To plant, nurture, and protect trees To preserve existing trees from damage and neglect To restore and maintain lakes, ponds, and natural water bodies To develop mini forests and green spaces To produce and distribute saplings free of cost To engage and empower youth in environmental conservation
Salem Youth Team was founded in 2017 by a group of passionate young individuals who wanted to create meaningful change in their community. What began as a small tree plantation drive has grown into a powerful environmental movement with hundreds of dedicated volunteers across Salem.
Rooted in action, the team works tirelessly to protect and restore nature—planting and maintaining saplings, safeguarding trees by removing harmful advertisement nails, cleaning lakes and ponds, creating mini forests, and producing saplings that are distributed free of cost. Every initiative reflects a deep commitment to preserving the environment for present and future generations.
